There are so many wonderful bird artists, it is very easy to develop favourites to the exclusion of all others. Hopefully the textures and a kind of woolier sort of portraiture discipline will appeal equally. I confess to not having counted all of the feathers: I elect to show the wear and tear of the wind and rain, and the beauty in spite of it all.
